Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract to AAAHC

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source contract with Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) to provide USCG Ambulatory Clinic Accreditation Services. This action is being conducted under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A) and (B) (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). The USCG currently utilizes AAAHCs proprietary standards and accreditation services at its USCG ambulatory clinics. Consistent application of these healthcare standards and services supports the USCGs requirement for continuity of care for USCG beneficiaries.
