Notice of Intent to Sole Source National Academy of Sciences (NAS) Transportation Research Board (TRB) In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), intends to award a purchase order, on a sole source basis, to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) Transportation Research Board (TRB) for a one year base period with four (4), one-year option periods for access to TRB research records and TRB online databases which will aid NETL in its energy efficient research projects.
