5.56mm M1042 Loose and M1071 Linked Marking Ammunition for Use in Close Combat Mission Capability Kit

This presolicitation notice is has been updated to reflect tha the U.S. Government anticipates that a formal soliciation will be issued on or about the week of 17 April 2026. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the office of the Office of the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS), intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for 5.56mm M1042 Loose and M1071 Linked Marking Ammunition Cartridges for use in Close Combat Mission Capability Kit (CCMCK).
