SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD. This Notice is to announce that the Department of Veteran Affairs, Consolidated Mail-Out Phamacy (CMOP) located in Hines, IL is proposing a firm fixed price contract with Knapp, Inc. on a sole source basis for Knapp System Hotline and Maintenance. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a) and VAAR 819.7007.
