Description
Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with MEDTRONIC INC. The Contractor shall provide all materials, parts, equipment, travel, and qualified personnel to provide preventative maintenance and corrective repair services on the Medtronic O-Arm located at the Edwards Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, IL. Contractor shall be OEM trained and authorized to perform service, as well as meet a 24-hour on-site response time. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified Acquisition Procedures as implemented in RFO 12.102, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
