Description
The 97th MDG requires two virtual reality headsets with licensing software to conduct realistic medical training with a wide variety of types of practice from combat lifesaver and first responder. The 97th MDG intends to make a sole source award to SimX Inc (CAGE: 79S56), due to being the only source capable of providing the proprietary software-based platform for conducting realistic medical training which is compatible with their headset. It is designed for effectiveness in a wide variety of settings and for a wide variety of types of practice, from combat lifesaver and first responder to high acuity in-hospital care. The SimX technology was developed in part with funds from the Federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. The SBIR program is used by the Federal Government
