Description
NAVSUP Fleet Logistics San Diego (FLCSD) intents to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Leonardo - DRS Naval Power Systems Inc. W126N7449 Flint Drive, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051 in accordance with RFO Part 5.101, 6.103 and 13.5. The requirement: To prevent critical delays to the Flight III Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) campaign, USS JACK H. LUCAS (DDG 125) executed a material transfer agreement with the USS THAD COCHRAN (DDG 135). Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), DDG 125 borrowed electronic parts/equipment with a binding requirement to replenish the inventory to DDG 135.
