The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (NIH-CC) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with the following vendor: Government Scientific Source. The purpose of this procurement is to secure the instrument and reagents for the Oxford Nanopore PromethION 2 Integrated long read sequencing assay for testing samples from patient. Oxford Nanopore PromethION 2 Integrated instrument and assay are used to perform long read genomic DNA sequencing of patient samples to detect DNA mutations, DNA structural abnormalities (e.g., deletions, insertions, and inversions, etc.), and DNA methylation that are often undetected by commonly used DNA sequencing techniques.
