Notice of Intent to Limit Competition The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District is issuing this announcement for the acquisition of Giant Garter Snake (GGS) Mitigation Bank Credits. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, intends to negotiate on a limited source basis under the authority of FAR 12.102(b), Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. A justification for the purchase of 16.08 GGS habitat mitigation credits has been prepared in support of this acquisition to offset the effects of the Lower San Joaquin River Project (PL 84-99), requirement Rehabilitation Inspection Program 2017 Flood Event.
