Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating potential Remote Monitoring and Maintenance Capability (RMMC) systems for PAPI, REIL, ALSF-2 and MALSR Visual Guidance Lighting Systems (VGLS). The FAA currently utilizes a Conversion Appliance Service System (CASS) to provide Time-Division Multiplexing (TDM) to Internet Protocol (IP) conversion, which will interface with RMLS as the final destination for data transmission.
