Description
The 910th Airlift Wing requires repair and corrective work to the Aircraft Fire Training Facility (AFTF) aircraft mock-up located at Youngstown Air Reserve Station. An inspection and evaluation of the Aircraft Fire Training Facility was conducted in August 2025 and finalized in April 2026. The assessment identified deficiencies affecting the facility's burner and ignition systems, structural components, corrosion protection, sprinkler system, propane distribution and emergency shutoff systems, control systems, and associated components.
