Description
FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. GE Precision Healthcare LLC is the only company that possesses the ability to support the continuation of this requirement at the required start date of 1 October 2025. There are no vendors that provide the OEM updates on the GE Viewpoint Manufactured Ultrasound Equipment. As a result, this requirement will be sole sourced to the GE Precision Healthcare LLC. Recommend a sole source award to GE Precision Healthcare LLC due to the proprietary products, and patents and other intellectual property rights.
