Description
The Government has the need to upgrade the aging 13.8kv electrical network on Truman Annex at Naval Air Station Key West, Florida. The scope of work for this requirement includes installation of a new concrete support foundation, replacing approximately 500 LF of 3-phase 15kv cable with new 3-phase 15kv 133% EPR #2 copper conductor, installation of a new 500kva padmounted transformer and secondary conductors for building 1352, and various other support work. This contract action was not awarded competitvely, it was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source authorized by Statute FAR 6.302-5(b)(4).
