Description
This service will renovate building 527 to comply with UFC 04-026-01 and MIL-HNDBK 1013/1A. The building requires minor renovations to eliminate deviation request VANCE AFB 97-01. The scope of this work includes the reinforcement of the existing AA&E storage room by adding steel and plywood layers to surrounding interior walls and ceiling. Existing fixtures will be removed and reinstalled on the new wall and ceiling faces. Entry door will be replaced with a compliant door, and window fasteners will be replaced with compliant tamper-resistant fasteners. Circuits on the interior electrical panel dedicated to other areas of the facility will be relocated to a new panel outside the room, providing better access to emergency personnel.
