Pre-Solicitation Notice for the Purchase of Sodium Hypochlorite

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Baltimore District is planning the re-procurement of an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) single-award delivery-order contract for sodium hypochlorite (12.5% Trade Strength) for the Washington Aqueduct Division (WAD) in Washington, D.C. Attached is a draft statement of work (SOW).The Washington Aqueduct supplies potable water to approximately one million people in the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia. As part of the water treatment and supply system, the Washington Aqueduct maintains and operates the Dalecarlia and McMillan Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), both of which utilize Sodium Hypochlorite in their operations.Sodium Hypochlorite shall conform to the requirements of ANSI/AWWA Standard B300, latest revision and shall be ce
