Saved Searches and Alerts
Reuse federal opportunity filters and enable available notifications for new matching notices.
SAM.gov remains the authoritative source
SAM.gov provides free federal opportunity search and email-notification tools. Gov Contract Finder adds a plan-dependent workflow for saving filters and reviewing matches, but it does not replace the official notice. Confirm dates, amendments, eligibility, and submission instructions on SAM.gov before acting.
What is available today

Saved-search limits and notification access depend on the active plan. Professional includes five saved searches; Max includes the Professional features plus its higher-volume workflow.
Create a useful saved search
- 1
Run and review the search
Apply the relevant keywords, NAICS codes, agencies, set-asides, place-of-performance filters, or other available criteria. Check several results before saving.
- 2
Save the current filters
Choose Save Search and use a name that makes the scope clear, such as “VA cybersecurity notices” or “Arizona construction set-asides.”
- 3
Choose notification recipients
If notifications are available on the plan, enable them and select the email addresses shown in the saved-search dialog.
- 4
Review and maintain the search
Open saved searches periodically, confirm the filters still reflect the pursuit strategy, and remove searches that are no longer useful.
Email and in-app review
Enabled saved searches can associate notification emails with a search. Processed match batches also appear in the in-app notification center, where they can be reviewed and marked as read.
Mobile access
Email links and the account workflow can be reviewed on a phone. Native push-notification registration is currently disabled, so do not rely on a push alert for a submission deadline.
Notification limits
Alerts are a monitoring aid, not a delivery guarantee. Processing time can vary, and a saved-search match may not capture every official change. The current interface does not offer a custom delivery schedule.
- Instant or real-time delivery
- User-configured hourly, daily, or weekly schedules
- AI relevance scoring or spam filtering for alert results
- Alerts for every amendment, agency announcement, or deadline
- Native mobile push notifications
